Design of a one-bedroom apartment with a bedroom: a project in Kiev

Usually in one-room apartments there is no place for a separate bedroom, and a place to sleep falls on a sofa laid out for the night in the living room.

Design Studio BRO offers an interesting design of a one-bedroom apartment with a bedroom, showing how to make a full-fledged bedroom even in cramped conditions. There is no need to demolish partitions and turn an apartment into a studio - the kitchen is not affected, and remains isolated from the rest of the space.

The division into zones of the main residential volume in the design of a one-bedroom apartment with a bedroom is achieved through the use of proper furniture and thoughtful decor. The sleeping area was placed by the window, and they installed in it an ordinary double bed, which was separated by a partition from the rest of the room.

At the same time, the partition is low, not higher than the dresser - due to which there is no feeling of tightness, and the daylight from the window uniformly illuminates both zones. On the one hand, the partition rests against the wall, on the other - into the column rising from the floor to the ceiling.

The living area in the design of the apartment is located near the entrance. A sofa, a fireplace, a TV, a rocking-chair with a soft rug for relaxing after a hard day’s work, and a shelving for books and decorative objects are all that is necessary to equip a cozy living room.

The walls of the open shelving are curly, which makes it seem to dissolve in space without cluttering it. At the same time, elegant white covers make an element of strict harmony into the interior.

Two of the four walls are covered with lilac wallpaper with an exquisite pattern, photos and home plants are used as a decor. The combination of white, light gray and gentle lilac sets a peaceful and sublime mood.

The kitchen is located in a separate room, its forms and lines continue the design idea of ​​the living room and bedroom. The very light shade of mustard chosen for the kitchen forms a harmonious pair with the color of the wallpaper in the room.
